Recently I’ve been taking day trips to Charleston – part work, part food and fun with @meganrunionmcr. But I also feel lucky to get small glimpses at the town that has such a huge place in my heart. Charleston is where I went to college, where my best friend Anne and I roomed together before we wanted real life to start, and has constantly been a place that calms my soul with its hidden alleyways, salt air and palmetto lined streets. There’s always something new to discover – something I never noticed before.
Last week we made the trip twice, fitting in a few shoots with our girl CARRIE ELIZABETH and winding up on the quaint State Street, a block off of the busy tourist area of East Bay. I collaborated with a new boutique MARIS DEHART for this look that was the perfect weight in the Charleston fall weather. I love a trench, and I will be wearing this one for a long time! If you’re local, my look can be found at the boutique, or scroll to the bottom of the post for a similar look delivered to your doorstep.
I hope everyone is ready to chow down on some Thanksgiving grub! Ron and I are headed to Arizona on Monday for the week. If you have any suggestions on where we should visit in Phoenix, message me on Snapchat – paularallis !
