Friday we closed on our flip home in Croftstone!
For those that live in Greenville, Croftstone is an area adjacent to North Main.
This home was clearly a disaster – the porch was minutes away from falling off, there were countless windows broken and covered with cardboard, and the kitchen was in need of a major rescue.
So here they are. Those horridly wonderful before photos.
We got straight to clean up and demo! When we got to the kitchen, taking out the cabinets led to the entire back of the house falling off. You could literally see through the entire home for a day or two. The front porch also ended up just falling off on it’s own.
Once we got down to the studs, it was on to framing and then design decisions! We were hoping a young couple would find this home and call it their own, so we chose more modern touches of a grey wood stain, patterned tile, matte black kitchen hardware, and a fireplace that pops. As far as the exterior, Ron told me that blue homes are the worst sellers. So what did I do? Paint it a shade of blue to test his theory. I chose a shade of teal on the shutters for contrast, and found the perfect chandelier for the side porch.
Theory debunked because this house sold through my Instagram Stories and never hit the market. Congratulations to Christina and Matt, and welcome back home to Greenville!
