Happy Monday! I am so excited to post this look that we shot a few weeks ago while visiting Charleston. As I’m looking at this outfit, it’s a far cry from what I wore and my lifestyle today. I went to one of our new flips and was met with piles and piles of clothing and trash. I can’t wait to get the beauty of the original house uncovered. The details are incredible and unlike any home I’ve flipped with Ron in the past. I am going to do my best to keep it true to its original time period as we move forward. I gave a quick look on my Snapchat this morning, keep checking back for updates! Now on to a cleaner time…
I live in black in the fall and winter. As soon as a breeze hits, it’s game on. Half of my closet is three different shades of black, and it’s always my go-to color if there’s multiple options. When I saw this studded HAUTE HIPPIE skirt at NYFW with the ShopStyle Social House, I knew that it would be an entirely black ensemble to complete the look. Details tend to stand out better if they’re not competing with color. I fell in love with this FREE PEOPLE Ruffle Fan Pullover and it was the perfect compliment. Unfortunately they are currently sold out of it in black, but it comes in two other colors. The shape is so great that it would look fabulous in any of the options. I have linked similar bell sleeve sweaters HERE, HERE and HERE around the same price point. The skirt paired with the lighter sweater was great for the Charleston weather in October. My bag is GUCCI and also comes in a few colors (also bigger than it looks on the inside!) My CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN flats are a previous style but this season they have a pair that is a little edgier and so cute!
All of my outfit details are linked along with the similar styles at the bottom of the post.
