Lord knows I love the 90’s, but the Menswear Trend may be my favorite thus far. I am most comfortable in pants and an edgy flat, and this trend is nothing but. One of my fashion icons is Ashley Olsen – her oversized, untucked and mostly moody neutrals are what I live for when it comes to my closet. I’m fully embracing this flip on gender style for fall and I’ve highlighted a few of my must-haves here.
At NYFW I had the chance to meet Olivia Palermo, another one of my fashion muses. She was discussing her recent collaboration with Banana Republic’s spring line. I was so excited when I came across another one of her partnerships with Chelsea28 to create these NAVY SUSPENDERS that I’m wearing at a great price point. I paired it with a BAILEY 44 Cold Shoulder sweater in white (also comes in black)
and GUCCI Fur Slides.

SHOES are one of the easiest ways to include the Menswear trend into your wardrobe. Any of these flats would look great with black skinny jeans and an oversized turtleneck sweater. With this type of shoe just keep a balance either with a wide leg pant or an oversized type of top like a white button down. These are some of my favorite styles for fall.
Blazers are another great wardrobe addition to achieve the Menswear look. Pair with a tighter pant and flats or go for a full pantsuit look and up the femininity with a heel. I think the more ‘undone’ the better. Any jacket or blazer that I can shove my hands into is always a positive for me!
Boyfriend jeans I will always have, with or without the Menswear trend. They’re amazingly comfortable and can be worn with heels, flats or booties. Tuxedo pants are here for fall and I love these styles to pair with sweaters or that full blazer look.
Below is my look from this shoot! Again, the price point of the suspenders are great if you want to start with a fall Menswear piece! I hope this trend is here to stay, I’m so in love with these looks!
